		<description>I find Daniel Coyle&#039;s book, The Talent Code, to be an exceptional piece of research and writing. The deep practice that he and you talk about gives me a whole new way of approaching my child&#039;s piano and violin practice. I heartily recommend this book.</description>

		<description>Just a quick thought I had with respect to this. I am interested in citizen scientists, or lay people who engage in science activities. I wonder if the motivations of lay scientists encourage a different type of practice than for professional scientists? And I wonder if formal education is better at encouraging deliberate practice than informal education is? Or it could be that lay scientists are deliberately practicing a different thing - and are becoming experts at enjoying star watching without developing expertise in some areas of astronomical research.</description>
